Fiat Chrysler Temporarily Halts Jeep Gladiator Sales Due to Driveshaft Flaw

Posted by

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has announced a recall for 2020 Jeep Gladiators due to an issue in which some trucks were manufactured without grease in a portion of the driveshaft. Fiat Chrysler has announced that about 3400 vehicles are affected, and, without being fixed, could result in a driveshaft fracture.

Jeep Gladiator owners that have a vehicle manufactured between December 15th, 2018, and June 25th, 2019, will want to check their VIN with NHTSA ahead of Fiat Chrysler’s formal notice in mid-October.
